Public bug reported:
When installing Jaunty alpha 5 on an IBM Thinkpad T20 or T23, the world
hangs (X never comes up). It runs fine off the live CD. Both these
systems have run previous versions of Kubuntu with no problems. The CD
passes validity test and has been successfully installed on an ASUS
laptop.
