I am entirely new to linux and am haveing the same problem but have no clue how to do any of this stuff. I can get into the terminal but dont know what to do when I get there. please help me i will post what i have done. I am using a brand new hard drive with fresh install of Linux Ubuntu 8.10(Intrepid)
