*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 234532 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/234532
Confirmed on hardy 8.04.2 up to date. openoffice.org-writer 2.4.1-1ubuntu2.1 docs, xls, and odt on the SSH share (via nautilus and "connect To Server" do not open. they ask for the password again with an openoffice dialogue. It seems even the correct passwords fail. Then it says "General Internet error has occured" As an aside, winscp from windows used to open these. I am not sure it is related, but the files now have to be dragged out of winscp to be opened properly. Very strange, since that seems to point at it NOT being an openoffice problem. But other (not doc, xls, odt) files are opening fine on the Linux desktop, it is only the offiice formats with problems. Similarly on the Linux desktop, dragging the files from the SSH nautilus window to the desktop and then opening works fine. -- OpenOffice does not accept password when opening files remotely over ssh https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/94326 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
