Public bug reported: Working with a Disklessworkstations.com 1520 PXE Atom thinclient.
There is no LVDS output on the thinclient, but it's inclusion on boot of Ubuntu causes the client to come up at 1024x768. In System > Preferences > Screen Resolution, the the monitors appeared with "Mirror Screens". LVDS needs to be quirked out entirely. 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GME Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03) 00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS/GME, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03) I can confirm that using the following in an xorg.conf works properly: Section "Monitor" Identifier "LVDS" Option "Ignore" "True" EndSection ** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Need LVDSout quirk for Intel 945GME <8086:27ae> https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/336923 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
