It looks a bit mingled in the report, but: abinum = 23
This means the ABI is 23, so as long as your kernel build does not change things that cause kernel functions to have different arguments or to vanish, you won't need to do the other packages. But if you do, you would have to rebuild them in the order kernel lum (if this exists for that release), lbm, lrm. Maybe the following page explains it better: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMaintenance Your output: prev_revision = 23.48ubuntu1~kg0 revision = 23.48ubuntu1~kg0ubuntu1 This looks like you already (at least) two more release entries in your changelog. In that case the abi files are expected in debian/abi/2.6.24-23.48ubuntu1~kg0. The location _always_ changes when you add a new release. -- linux packages in hardy-security FTBFS in a ppa https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/333766 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
