Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ia32-libs

It returned the error message: "E:
/var/cache/apt/archives/ia32-libs_2.2ubuntu18_amd64.deb: unable to
create `./usr/lib32/libGL.so.1.2'" on Ubuntu 8.10. This might be a
conflict with the 180 range of Nvidia drivers as, looking the error up,
it exists when 173 drivers are installed, but not 177. It is ia32-libs
version 2.2ubuntu18.
