Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kile
I am running Kubuntu Intrepid with KDE 4.2 on an AMD 64 PC. Details are: Description: Ubuntu 8.10 Release: 8.10 The existing package is: kile: Installed: 1:2.0.1-1ubuntu1 Candidate: 1:2.0.1-1ubuntu1 Version table: *** 1:2.0.1-1ubuntu1 0 500 http://ftp.iinet.net.au intrepid/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status and works OK but I want a more recent version. I have tried to compile kile_2.1~svn20090217-0ubuntu4 using jaunty sources and prevu. It chugs along nicely but fails toward the end. The error message is: --- ... dh_installudev -pkile-doc dh_lintian -pkile-doc dh_install -pkile-doc --sourcedir=debian/tmp dh_install: kile-doc missing files (usr/share/doc/kde/HTML/*), aborting make: *** [binary-install/kile-doc] Error 1 dpkg-buildpackage: failure: fakeroot debian/rules binary gave error exit status 2 ... --- Does anyone know what should be done to compile it successfully? I think it is almost there before falling over.
