No, there's currently no way to handle this other than setting the
password manyally from nm-connection-editor.

This should be taken into consideration when the next database format is
being developed.  Actually all that is needed is some magic string in
password field like:

    <password>###phonenumber</password>

Let's leave this bug as it is for now as a remainder.
