Installing linux-restricted-modules-2.6.27-13-generic did the trick. Prior to this, i had linux-restricted-modules-common installed as well as linux-restricted-modules-2.6.27-11 (and lower)
linux-restricted-modules-x (x=12, 13) didn't get installed automatically, like in the previous versions. Installing the package manually helped getting my wifi back. I do not know why, perhaps i am missing some packages that should take care of the automatism?
