Pedro, if you read bug #37935 (related to evolution) you can realize that is the same thing I propose for f-spot: the ability to show the info of the last selected photo (in bug #37935 evolution should have provided the ability to show the content of the last selected email when multiple message had been selected). Bug #37935 was fixed and I think it may be considered a sort of usability approach for every app.
