same problem , following downloads it asks for me to chose an app and I do not see anythign in the pull down list to chose. It then goes to the file manager but I do not know how to find the app software to select it. ( in WIN I would recognize the .exe file is there something like this in Ubuntu?). Since I dwld everythign to the Desktop the work around is then to got the DEsktop and then my app opens immediately after clkg on the download. I don't know if this is a bug but it is anoying..if fixable yes please!! Thank you all of you out there that make Ubuntu such a pleasure to use... most of the time!
