Firefox version is 3.0.7 (Gecko/2009030422). It happens every time yeah. Something weird is that I have no problems with "normal" text and body background. Even if I use the same colors for my buttons...
I'm also not sure about relation to firefox, I don't have a lot of software installed (this is a small machine with 1Go flash memory which will be used only to display a web app as a kiosk) so I didn't notice this problem somewhere else. Colors in GDM's login seems fine.
