This has been happening forever now....I'm using Jaunty but as I recall
I had issues with it in Intrepid too. When making multiple keypresses,
either with autorepeat or physically hitting the same key multiple
times...X will just restart and go back to the login manager.
I disabled autorepeat in my bashrc file, which helps but there are still
times I hit the keys too fast (like hitting the down arrow to page
through a file) and it borks on me.
