That's it. Yesterday, it also complained about /etc/qt3/qt_plugins_3.3rc being not readable. I gave read permissions go+rX to /etc/qt3 recursively and the problem vanished. I have indeed something relevant in /var/crash. Didn't know this folder exists until now. The file is attached.
