Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kdissert
Dear Sir or Madam, I use gubuntu 8 64 bit, I am not computer literate. I cannot say when / which update occurred and the spell checker stopped working in OpenOffice. So, I removed the OpenOffice off my system through Synaptic Package Manager and then closed down and reopened and installed my OpenOffice. The spell check works ok now. I got this bug report and I don't know much about why it happened. Yours Faithfully, contact me:: stephen.chaf...@gmail.com ProblemType: Package Architecture: amd64 Dependencies: DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.10 ErrorMessage: failed in buffer_write(fd) (10, ret=-1): backend dpkg-deb during `./usr/bin/kdissert' NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: kdissert None [modified: /var/lib/dpkg/info/kdissert.list] SourcePackage: kdissert Title: package kdissert None [modified: /var/lib/dpkg/info/kdissert.list] failed to install/upgrade: failed in buffer_write(fd) (10, ret=-1): backend dpkg-deb during `./usr/bin/kdissert' Uname: Linux 2.6.27-11-generic x86_64 ** Affects: kdissert (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-package -- I am a novice, read below ! https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/341645 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
