It is not a bug. It is because your program is more protective than others.
This is the first time I have ever had a problem loading Winzip 8.1 on any O.S.. It is this kind of stuff that keep most people away from Ubuntu. I support a lot of computers and it's this kind of thing that keeps me from recommending it to other users. Sorry, but that's the way it is. If I have to not load programs to run Unbuntu, then I can't recomment it because I can't support it.
