Though the bug has been marked as nvidia (and it does, since only nvidia AFAIK can have separate x-screens), I've noticed that the apps affected seem to be only those specific to ubuntu. Apps that are more generic /cross-platform (openoffice, matlab, firefox, thunderbird, etc.) seem to be unaffected. Amarok is affected, as well as most of the default apps from the menus (though as previously mentioned, some work IF run from alt-F2 or terminal).
Can no-one confirm this? Since these same drivers work with Intrepid, perhaps the bug should be assigned specifically to Jaunty (or to the new xorg-server version being used). Please request any information required. Since this isn't a crash I'm really at a lost with what else I can post concerning this bug. -- Separate X-screen, apps launched from 2nd screen appear on first screen https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/339783 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
