Hi! Just to update the current situation:
I disabled compiz and uninstalled the NVidia driver (nvidia-glx-177) After reboot, it works! I reinstalled the NVidia driver After a new reboot I tested again and BANG... it doesn't work anymore. Seems that I cannot have both vesafb and nvidia drivers runing. Is there a solution? How do I get this working.
