I have the same problem (Dell 530s with ATI HD2400XT video, with
ati/radeon open source drivers). Going through the
DebuggingKernelSuspend procedure I end up with
[ 1.765524] Magic number: 0:953:349
[ 1.765527] hash matches
/build/buildd/linux-2.6.27/drivers/base/power/main.c:390
No further hash lines.
On the odd occasion that my screen _does_ come back, I notice a whole
series of error messages related to the ata subsystem. I haven't been
able to capture them yet (they end with 'ata.1 {DRDY ERR}' type line but
that doesn't say much).
