I strongly suspect there is a hardware issue with the Aspire One rather
than a software one, my Aspire one is often up for days then the wifi
stops working and after several attempts the only thing thats worked was
to power down and remove the battery. The hardware literally disappears
from the system. I seem to experience this problem when the Aspire One
has been left on a soft surface like a bed or a chair so maybe i'm not
allowing it enough ventilation, however the system didn't seem
particularly warm.

This is on ubuntu hardy, there are a lot of reports with wireless
quitting on windows too. Acer built down to a price and maybe this is
the cost.
