Paul, isn't so easy... I've already though in wicd... but:
1- in some documentations the information is that wicd is for WIRELESS.. but... 2- Like is in the wicd site: i've add the repository in synaptic of wicd an searched for 'wicd'... nothing was found... 3- in another search i found a information that wicd is for Ubuntu 8.04... I'm using 8.10...
