I also had this bug on Kubuntu Jaunty, while Intrepid worked well. (I had also reported it as bug 339957.) As of today's updates my system (Dell E6400) now works perfectly in Jaunty, as well (could it be the update from 2.6.28-10 to 2.6.28-11?). --hasi
