Public bug reported:

USB webcam identified by lsusb as:  ID 0733:0401 ViewQuest Technologies,
Inc. CS330 WebCam (bought as an Intel Create and Share webcam model
cs330) does not show any pictures under cheese; the "picture" is a
pinkish background with horizontal green, purple, pink stripes. These
colors are completedly unrelated to anything the webcam is looking at.

when connecting, the kern.log shows:
