Public bug reported: Binary package hint: initramfs-tools
All started when new kernel images where installed and old backport images should leave....after an apt-get autoremove i got the following update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-2.6.27-12-generic and everything seems like falling into an infinite loop. The last lines of sudo update-initramfs -u -v: ...............
