Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

Using a fresh installation of intrepid (8.10), I can't use my native LCD
resolution.
EDID fails.
Xorg.0.log has the following two lines repeatedly:
  (II) intel(0): I2C device "CRTDDC_A:ddc2" registered at address 0xA0.
  (II) intel(0): I2C device "CRTDDC_A:ddc2" removed.

according to lspci, I have :
Intel Corporation 82G33/G31 Express Integrated Graphics Controller

Screen:
ViewSonic VA712 LCD, native resolution 1280x1024

Thanks for your help,
  Jaron
