Oddly, the problem fixed itself..
After a week with the problem, It's suddenly fixed!
the only changes I did to the system, are to install the "read-edid" and 
"xresprobe" packages, to detect my "edid".
After using them a couple of times, xrandr -q suddenly reported the correct 
resolutions.
The only reason I can come up with, is the those packages brought with them new 
capabilities to xrandr. Maybe something to do with EDID 2.0.
Anyway, after a reboot, everything wors fine!
(I still consider it a bug, as my screen was blurred for a whole week:))
