Thanks for reporting this bug. This is a bug in Metacity, as it doesn't resize the window when the window undecorates. For hardy and intrepid, we had a patched Metacity in our PPA, but for Jaunty, we sent the patch upstream[1] to Metacity and it has now been merged and is included in the latest stable version.
This version should be coming to Jaunty very soon, as it is updated to include the latest gnome release.
