I do not know why this bug has been closed since it is still there. Here is the error I have been seeing: "the panel encountered a problem while loading oaf11d:gnome_ fast user switching applet
This is a fresh load and as you already know the backround is not the default as it should be. I have to say I have loaded Ubuntu server on 4 machines and 50 percent of the time is was without error and 50 percent of the time it was. Go figure! Is this ever going to be fixed because it obviously has been over looked and it is quite trouble some. is there an easy bandaid?
