I (think I) have a workaround -- the problem seemed to hit me when unblanking the screen, so I disabled screen blanking and now I can at least shut the laptop lid without losing wireless. It's not ideal, but it helps... Ben, looking again at your report, I'm not sure this will help you -- it seems that we have the same output in the logs, and the same result, but that the trigger for the wireless going down is different?
