@fishor:thanks for your feedback! I'm going to close the bug based on
that (by marking the status invalid, which you could have done
yourself); amusingly, I'd had the same behavior appear on intrepid that
resulted from the same error configuration in gnome-sound-properties,
probably for similar user error reasons. If people do see the default
mixer setting getting changed and they're sure they didn't make that
change themselves, then please reopen this bug, as there may be
something programmatic changing the configuration.
