It means that I since you said that you use the nvidia driver version 177 I assinged this bug report to the nvidia- graphics-driver-177 package, with this the maintainers of the nvidia driver package are notified. I also set it to confirmed because I think that they might be able to further investigate the issue now that you added more information about your problem. Judging from the information you gave I can't help you any more so maybe they can.
