I'm not that inexperienced of a user (from my point of view :)) but I
stumbled on this issue as well.

Since the right-click > Share menu brings up a nice GUI that even
installs services if required, nobody will ever think of opening a
console right away to create a Samba user. One expects the configuration
to be made by the GUI.

I agree there should be an option to create a User in the GUI or let
user choose anonymous access.
