Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubiquity
I used Jaunty daily-live 20090324. On install process, X crashes and return to login screen. In syslog, the error is "ubuntu python: InstallStepError: HwDetect failed with code 141". X always crashes, but after crash X does not crash again and installation get complete. The end of Xorg.0.log.old is this. exaCopyDirty: Pending damage region empty!
