Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox
Firefox dont find correct plugins to play embedded midi-files. When browsing to http://www.danapannell.com/BEATLES/ Firefox say it need a plug in, but the automated plug in finder don't find or give any help to install the correct plug in. However there is a solution that seems to work: Go to http://www.linuxquestions.org/linux/answers/Applications_GUI_Multimedia/Three_Steps_to_MIDI_on_Linux. This solution seems to work and it would be nice if Firefox could be able to find what it needs automatic. It is a very time-consuming and tiering task to read many different web pages which give their own solution and many don't work. ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Firefox dont find correct plugin for audio https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/348819 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
