You probably don't need more confirmation, but I've got the same issue in a fully-patched intrepid. Oddly, I'm only running in accessibility mode because I didn't want to have metacity making the odd animations for window maximize and minimize (turned on low-resources mode in gconf), and then turned on accessibility mode so that I could see window contents while dragging. And then this cropped up! Ah well! Thanks for looking into it!
