Public bug reported: System -> Administration -> Hardware Drivers (jockey-gtk) does not list any proprietary drivers for my ATI Radeon Xpress 200M on my laptop. Ubuntu 8.04/8.10 both listed proprietary drivers but 9.04 beta does not. I can manually install the drivers though using apt-get.
Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 beta x86_64 jockey-common 0.5-0ubuntu6 jockey-gtk 0.5-0ubuntu6 I expected jockey to suggest proprietary video drivers as seen in previous versions, but it does not. ** Affects: jockey (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: ati driver fglrx jockey video ** Summary changed: - Jockey won't list binary-only drivers for my ATI Radeon Xpress 200M + No proprietary drivers listed for my ATI Radeon Xpress 200M ** Tags added: ati driver fglrx jockey video -- No proprietary drivers listed for my ATI Radeon Xpress 200M https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/350459 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
