Still no luck, bug is back.
It looks like the patched compiz works just for the redrawing issue, but it 
does not prevent system to become unstable and randomly freeze.
Today it happened 4 times while trying to make my backup using BackInTime on a 
remote nfs share, as I usually do. After comparing latest snapshot X just 
freezed every single time, whatever other application was running (even just 
nautilus). Needless to say, disabling compiz backup was completed without 
problems. Again, this is driver-version independent, it just happens with some 
applications, and it changes from day to day. I.e: backintime was running 
perfectly until today.
