Hello Thank you for the response, i figured out that was i haven't enable the new kernel after the upgrade, with enable the new kernel, the CPU frequency scaling work perfectly. And i can confirm some FN-Key still not working on this laptop, like brightness control, and change screen key.

Easy way to check that is by having 'powertop' open in a terminal > (sudo powertop), and giving the cpu some work with 'stress --cpu 2 --timeout > 60' in another terminal. In powertop you will se on the top right side the > processor-states with the used frequencys. You should get something like > this: > both set to performance -> 100% [max. frequency] > core1-powersave|core2-performance -> 50%[min.freq] 50% [max.freq] > both powersave -> 100% [min.freq] > Please check that so that we can assure that this is a bug. > > -- > cpu frenquency scaling not work on sony labtop SR21MN > https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/350434 > You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber > of the bug. > -- cpu frenquency scaling not work on sony labtop SR21MN https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/350434 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
