It seems this problem even exists with a 2.6.29 kernel, so it hasn't yet
been fixed upstream. Unfortunately my knowledge of kernel internals is
non-existant, so I don't know how to fix this myself. However I will try
and see if there has been a kernel bug filed, and if not, I will file
one and try and give as much info as I can.
