With latest 9.04 beta UNR 20090328 I'm unable to make the webcam work on my MSI Wind netbook, it doesn't show up at all in lsusb and cheese doesn't detect it either. Fn+F6 does nothing.
This is a jaunty regression because under intrepid on the same netbook it works, Fn+F6 make the webcam appear and disappear and it is picked up by Ekiga when activated. lsusb with webcam on: r...@wind-laptop:~# lsusb Bus 005 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub Bus 001 Device 003: ID 5986:0141 Acer, Inc Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0bda:0158 Realtek Semiconductor Corp.
