** Description changed:

- There was a time, two or three ubuntu releases back, in which I could connect
to the wiimote on ubuntu.
- The last update makes this to lswm:
+ In hardy, cwiid worked; I could connect to the wiimote on ubuntu. In
+ Intrepid, this fails.

- $$ lswm
- lswm: error while loading shared libraries: libbluetooth.so.2: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory
+ Steps to reproduce the error:

- It seems like last update installed libbluetooth version 3, and "lswm"
- has fixed dependencies. wmgui gives the same message.
+ Detect mac address:
+ lswm
+ Put Wiimotes in discoverable mode now (press 1+2)...
+ 00:19:1D:B7:D7:10

- Prior to last update I couldn't connect to the wiimote either. Using
"modprobe uinput" didn't help
- making "wmgui 00:19:1D:94:30:BF" either (wmgui was displayed as if I type
only "wmgui"). I have three wiimotes so it's not a hardware problem.
+ Try to connect to wiimote:

- $$hcitool scan
- Scanning ...
- 00:19:1D:94:30:BF Nintendo RVL-CNT-01
- 00:10:C6:91:52:DB MADWS0021
+ 1. from a shell, run wmgui 00:19:1D:B7:D7:10
+ 2. Choose File->connect
+ 3. Press OK
+ 4. press 1+2on wiimote
+ 5. 20 seconds or so... Message is displayed "Unable to connect"
+ In the terminal a message has appeared "Socket connect error (control
channel)"

- The "bluetooth device wizard"(blue icon on desktop bar) detects Nintendo
RVL-CNT-01, when I try to connect, it says:
- "conecting to Nintendo RVL-CNT-01..."
- and then "pairing with Nintendo RVL-CNT-01 failed"
+ If you do "hcitool cc MAC" when pressing OK, in a different terminal
+ window, it connects.

- OS: Intrepid ibex
- Acer Aspire 5610 with different bluetooth USB adapters(no one works, they
worked fine in the past).
+ Using bluetooth module:
+ Bus 003 Device 006: ID 1131:1001 Integrated System Solution Corp. KY-BT100
Bluetooth Adapter
