Linux support sucks in Adobe. You do know that we dont package it separately right? Our scripts download it from adobe than make a .deb out of it. We dont have adobe-flashplugin in repos anymore only for Hardy as i recall maybe intrepid but it does same thing that flashplugin-nonfree does. gets same version ect... This made it a bit easier to get version 10 on Hardy since we had backports issues. gnomefr...@development:~$ policy adobe-flashplugin adobe-flashplugin: Installed: (none) Candidate: (none) Version table: gnomefr...@development:~$ The update version is a newer version, not released by Adobe, and has some "issues" like you can't click within a flash animation, and the settings popup (privacy, camera, microphone) does not allow you to click it or close it these should be filed separately. As for update and not working after is the same issue as the other bug since you state you are not using adobe's version. -- Adobe plugin via updates is broken. Version from Adobe's website works with no issues. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/350961 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
