Hi Blake

Just to say I'm not running as root all the time in answer to your
enquiry...but I am very pleased to report that the 64-bit flash alpha
plugin has been working without fault for me.

I have removed nspluginwrapper and flashplugin-nonfree. However the last
thing I did to get up and running ok was to INSTALL flashplugin-nonfree
(having previously un-installed it) gone through the download and
received the message that the 'architecture...' was invalid. At that
point I cancelled the install and since then all has gone very well. I
am wondering if the install process also installs a file other than the
flash player per se and that I may have deleted that file in my
enthusiasm to remove all previous versions of the flash player before
downloading the 64-bit alpha.
