Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: initramfs-tools

After dist-upgrading to Jaunty (from Intrepid), I was unpleasantly
surprised by the kernel boot giving me a Busybox prompt in initramfs: it
failed to mount the root filesystem. Performing a 'cat
/proc/filesystems' revealed no presence of reiserfs module, and
'modprobe reiserfs' gave me an error code of 1.

What's even more annoying, is that all installed kernels had their
initramfs re-generated, so none of the options would boot. I'm currently
downloading a rescue disc, after which I'll investigate more.

** Affects: initramfs-tools (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
