Public bug reported: Bug looks similar to #338904 , but fix is not available (package not found).
Description: When entering an incorrect username on Last.fm plugin, one warning message dialog appears every second or so. Could happen when entering the username and any window steals the focus (even Pidgin IM chat window) and username is incorrectly entered. After a while, there are too many dialog windows and Pidgin has to be closed manually (killall -9 pidgin). Cannot confirm the following yet, but entering a correct username and after a while of inactivity, problem appears again. Will test and update the bug if I can confirm if the problem can be reproduced at will. Steps to reproduce: 1. Install pidgin-lastfm (jaunty) 2. Enable Last.fm plugin 3. Enter an incorrect username 4. Several dialog message appears Solution on Bug 338904 is to download http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/p/pidgin-lastfm/pidgin-lastfm_0.4-3_all.deb Only 0.4a-1_all as .deb file is present, package has to be build manually.
