** Description changed: Hardware: a brand new HP Pavilion s6730.nl slimline PC with a PS/2 multi media keyboard and ps/2 mouse included. Installed kubuntu edgy on it. After booting in kdm, the keys are all wrong. If I press shift it auto- - repeats. Switching to console login does not help. In console mode - things are also bad. + repeats the character 'c'. Workaround: When I remove the keyboard's ps/2 connector from the PC and - reinsert it again, everything is working normal.
