  gnome-panel, metacity (when using alt-tab) and xfce analogs are affected.
  After some investigation made on Russian Ubuntu Community Forum ( 
http://forum.ubuntu.ru/index.php?topic=53913.0;all ) statistics are: Situation 
occurs in both 8.10 and 9.04 beta, on 32 and 64 bit systems, roughly on 75% of 
users' machines when using gnome and xfce.
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  Open Firefox, go to http://blog.oup.com/2009/03/science-fiction/ and watch 
the panel die, try alt+tab until focus on browser window, metacity will crash 
too.

  When this title transfers to firefox window title, crash happens.
  
  Two title code variants contained in attached file and also in this message:

  first is with symbols  between "Fiction
  
  " and ":", second is without. This code pieces can be used to reproduce bug 
in case of changes in original web-page that caused the bug.
