Public bug reported: Running Ubuntu Jaunty Beta.
Using Pidgin 1.2.5.5-1ubuntu6. Recently ran dist-upgrade, noticed that Pidgin was one of the programs receiving an update. After rebooting, went to run Pidgin and it crashed. Not a messy crash, just the program closing as if I had done so myself. After multiple attempts, I managed to set it to offline mode, and disable all of my accounts. Re-activating them one by one, the MSN protocol accounts work just fine, while the Google Talk accounts cause it to crash upon activation. (the only two I use). ** Affects: pidgin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Pidgin crashes due to Google Talk protocol. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/358090 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
