** Description changed: Problem: Using flash-based webcam/conference services such as adobe connect and userplane, the camera works the first time, then stops working. If at any point you turn off the camera in the chat interface and then turn it back on, you will either get a) no picture b) sound only c) static/bizarre colors (see attached screenshot) Workaround: Remove /home/$USER/.mozilla/xxxxxxxx.profile/xpti.dat and restart firefox, the webcam again will work the first time. Versions: Tested on a Dell Mini 9 running 8.04 (lpia) Tested on a Dell XPS m1330 running 8.10 (i386) + Flash Debugger version 10.0.22.87 [ Source: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14266&sliceId=2 ] Debugging: strace'ing the existing process froze the entire computer except for the mouse. Followed instructions found here to debug flash since we do not have a dbgsym package for flashplugin-nonfree: http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/2/docs/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/wwhelp.htm?context=LiveDocs_Parts&file=00001527.html Content of ~/mm.cfg: ErrorReportingEnable=1 TraceOutputFileEnable=1 Debugging logs attached. Logs ending with -full.log is the complete log, see end of file for notes. The error/works logs are just the camera connecting section.
