After resume the keyboard and touchpad on my laptop, HP Pavilion dv5, running Ubuntu Jaunty were not working. Even though if I connect the USB mouse and keyboard they were working. Adding "i8042.reset" flag to the menu.lst helped me to fix the problem. thnx.
